Fünf Fragen an: Zachery Sanford

Mortal Kombat X. Ich bin schrecklich darin.

Zachery Sanford is the devloper of Three Fourths Home, a visual short story where you decide the outcome. In her mid-20’s, Kelly has moved back into her parents‘ house. Players assume the role of Kelly while she is driving home during a thunderstorm. The focus of the game is its narrative, conveyed through an extended conversation Kelly has with her parents and younger brother. An extended Version of Three Fourths Home has been released on Steam and other platforms this march.
What video game did you play last?
Mortal Kombat X. I’m terrible at it.
Is there any upcoming title you’re hyped for?
Xenoblade X is one I’m interested in trying out. Virginia looks really cool, too.
Which game do you wish you made yourself?
None, If I made them, they wouldn’t be the same game.
What do you like about the indie games scene and what has to change?
Accessibility of development is by far the most exciting thing about the indie dev scene right now. As far as what has to change, it’s difficult to say anything in particular, but it’s frustrating how many great titles go under the radar and are relatively unplayed. Discoverability is a problem.
If you could ask any indie dev one question, who and what would it be?
I’d ask Tim Schafer if he wants to grab a drink sometime.
Thank you Zach for answering the questions.
